I am a twenty-something uptown girl that has left the Midwest and landed on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. I caved to the pressure from my friends (and my fantasy thoughts of becoming a pro-blogger) and started What’s More to Love. Here I will journal my life as it happens, slowly discovering all the great “things” to love. You can expect plenty of posts on food, restaurants, my workouts, reality setting in, joys, struggles, loves, non-loves [I’ll avoid ‘hates’ as the world is filled with enough of that] and everything in between.
At some point I’ll probably bore you, use incorrect grammar, misspell things, whine and offend you. I also hope to make you smile, introduce you to new things, challenge your status-quo, and capture your interest enough to make you want to keep reading. To be honest, I’m not one for capitalization, but I’ll put my best effort towards punctuation. That is a lie, I’m awful at anything related to english, but I do prefer my name to be written in all lower case [aneessa]. I do what I want.
So, lets get personal. I am from a small town just north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin (no, I did not grow up on a farm) and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Marketing. I now live in Manhattan with this boy, Dan, who somehow tricked me into fallin in love with him, but really the joke’s on him, because now he’s in love with me too. Looks like we’re stuck with each other, I guess it could be worse. Dan is busy being intelligent and having a phenomenal job. I am busy work’n it in the Marketing world and avoiding bankruptcy from 5th Avenue. [NYC is no place for a weak wallet]
I really love health and fitness. I’ve ran two marathons and have gone through the training to be a group fitness instructor [just need to take that silly certification test]. I love experiencing new food and enjoy brightening people’s day with baked goods. Since moving to Manhattan, I’ve become obsessed with cupcakes.

I don’t take myself too seriously
I also really, really, really want a wiener dog.
